If you’re a mama or even a mama-to-be then you’ll know that people are very forthcoming in the advice they give you about every part of motherhood and caring for a baby. And although on some occasions you get some really useful information, everyone raises children differently and every baby is unique in the way it does things, so it’s not always so welcome. I figure the best way to give and receive advice is before baby comes, when you can do all your research and then decide which bits you listen to when baby comes along! It’s quite common these days for mama advice cards to be handed out to guests at a baby shower so that other mamas can give some handy pointers whilst the new mummy is preparing for motherhood.
I’m very lucky that I have a mum and two sisters that I’m extremely close to, and a couple of friends I confide in about mama-stuff, but I know there are plenty of ladies out there who don’t have that amazing support network. So, if you are in the process of organising a baby shower for someone you know, then these advice cards will be super helpful in getting the new mama somewhere near ready for looking after a tiny person.
