I love that this recipe literally has one step and that’s to chuck it all in the food processor and turn it on! This is a lovely baby food recipe, as you can dip any food you like into it and hand it over for bub to chew on. And because it’s made from scratch you know it doesn’t have any added salt, like the ones you find in the supermarkets. May I suggest dipping in vegetable sticks, breadsticks or fingers of pitta bread and it would also be lovely on toast or plain rice cakes. Really you can try whatever you like, but I’m sure you and your baby will be excited if you give this a go!
- 400g can of chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp tahini
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- Add all of the ingredients to a food processor and blitz until mixed and semi-smooth. Pop to chill in the fridge before serving.
